Soft Slips in Chemical Sales

ACC clocks 0.3% dip in Q2 report.

The Specialty Chemicals Market Volume Index, a tool created by the American Chemistry Council (ACC), entered the second quarter of 2016 on a soft note, slipping 0.3 percent on a three-month moving average basis in April.   The trend has been choppy and April’s decline was preceded by revised flat activity in March and a 0.1 percent drop in February, said the association.
